Of all the 50 states in the union, Texas has what most believe are some of the toughest marijuana laws on the books. Yet the winds of change seem to be blowing, even in Texas when it comes to reforming those laws.

Three bills have been filed for the upcoming state legislative session to relax and/or reclassify some marijuana regulations. Given Colorado's success in creating an entirely new industry thanks to the liberalization of laws in their state, some Texas lawmakers are eyeing the burgeoning legal pot industry as a potential source of state revenue.

The activists from pro-pot advocacy group Norml are organizing lobbying efforts for their cause. They're training and briefing fellow crusaders to ask legislators to see it their way.
