It's the hope of every pet owner to have their pet show as much affection to them as they themselves show to that pet. Today, we came in contact with such an animal capable of that kind of affection.

Cinnamon the dog was brought by our friend Walter Hetzel from her temporary accommodations at the Temple Animal Shelter on Mama Dog Circle adjacent to Avenue H and 31st St. on the southside. At first she wasn't too sure of her surroundings but sixty seconds later was warming up considerably. She acted as if she knew she had our hearts and she was right!

Temple Animal Services is located at 620 Mama Dog Circle in Temple, just off 31st Street and Avenue H. To learn about adopting this sweet little dog or one just right for you and your family, click here for the City of Temple Website. They also have GIFT CERTIFICATES so your loved one can pick out the perfect pet of their own.

Be sure to listen in every Friday morning on K101.7 when Temple’s top Animal Services officer Walter Hetzel joins us in studio with another furry friend.

Our weekly segments with our pets of the week are brought to you by Rescue Magazine. All of the animal agencies in Central Texas are represented in this publication including Temple’s Animal Shelter.
