In 2016, Temple Parks and Recreation made a great impression on me. They had tons of events that were all great including Bend O' the River Christmas, Public Picnics, Holiday events for the community, drive-in movies and many, many more.

On deck for Temple Parks & Rec is the 18th Annual Father Daughter Dance, presented by Extreme Cheer & Tumble. There will be two days to attend - Friday, February 3 and Saturday, February 4 from 6 pm to 9 pm - at the Frank W. Mayborn Convention Center. You cannot purchase tickets at the door.

The carriage ride tickets (presale only) are already sold out, but there are still tickets left for the Father Daughter Dance that sells out every year.

You can purchase tickets on Eventbrite or on the Temple Parks website.

Here are the details provided by Temple Parks:

Tickets are $12 per person and are pre-sale only, TICKETS WILL NOT BE SOLD AT THE DOOR. Dads of all ages are welcome to attend, but all daughters must be 18 and under.

Concessions will be available for purchase, but a free dessert snack will be provided by Schlotzsky's to all dads and daughters.

Professional photography will be provided for an additional cost.

Here is the video for the 2015 dance. Please note that admission is now $12 instead of $10.
