A lot of folks' minds are on the upcoming spring season and getting outside to exist in harmony with nature. At least, without giving up the modern conveniences, that is.

About eight and a half years ago, Texas's own Matthew McConaughey, having made that lifestyle a permanent choice, decided he would gladly show the rest of us how it's done.  In 2008, Architectural Digest magazine caught up with the actor who was spending most of his time in California living out of an Airstream trailer in Malibu.  You know, the silver kind from the mid-century modern heyday.

Honestly, I kind of see through the magazine's whole purpose for writing that article. They could've interviewed 100 other Airstream owners but undoubtedly they had a crush on Matthew. I get it, he's totally Bro-tastic.  He lived there so he could be feet away from the surf. Who could argue with that?

The trailer has very much become a part of the actors image. He told Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa about traveling with his son in it.

Back in October of last year, the magazine had the good sense to share the article again. Read it for yourself here.
