UMHB Crusaders Report To Camp This Weekend

The UMHB Crusaders football team will be reporting to Belton for the start of fall camp on Saturday, August 12 with another championship season on everyone's mind.

The announcement was made on the Mary Hardin-Baylor Athletics Facebook Page. 

The Cru will be busy that Saturday with physicals, equipment check-out, meetings, and testing. The first full team practice will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 13th. The next few days from Monday to Thursday, practices will be split up into two different groups.

Incoming freshmen and transfers will take the practice field at 7:45 a.m., and the returners will hop on at 9:30 a.m.

The two groups will come together for the first full pads practice on Friday, August 18, at 8:10 a.m..The Crusaders are expecting 225 student athletes to report to fall camp this year. 135 of those are newcomers.

The Crusaders are returning six starters on each side of the ball, and are looking to repeat as NCAA Division 3 National Champions. The quest for the repeat begins on September 9th, when the Crusaders kickoff their season against the Sul Ross State Lobos in an American Southwest Conference game. The game will be played at 6:00 p.m. at Crusader Stadium.
