Southbound I-35 at Crawl in Temple Late Monday Morning

Southbound I-35 traffic was moving at a snail's pace late Monday morning after a crash just south of Midway Drive.

TxDOT's Jodi Wheatley said the crash occurred shortly after 10 AM and caused both lanes to be blocked. As of 10:43 AM, vehicles were still being diverted to the I-35 frontage road just south of Loop 363, and southbound traffic was backed up as far as Airport Road.
