How you handle the fact that October 13th is National No Bra day will depend on your "mood".

I'm sure you all know that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Well, the 13th is National No Bra day as well. I'm kind of sad that this day has landed on a Saturday, and not on a weekday.

I'd imagine that the HR departments would have their hands full. No pun intended.

If you'd like to be mature and observe this day, then you should plan on making an appointment for a mammogram.

When you post to social media, they'd like you to use #NoBraDay or #NationalNoBraDay.

Plus you should make a donation to the American Cancer Society, or Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

For the slightly immature version of the day, I'll pass along a little story of my life that happened this past week.

For those of you who don't know, I'm very fat. So much so that my chest looks like it has boobs. That's because I do. My family has great boobs, so it's only logical that my man breast look good.

Because of this I normally keep my hair short. If I get it too long I have a habit of being called "Mam" out in public.

About 5 years ago I started to be able to grow facial hair. Not all over, but the side burns come in well, so I grow them out if I decide to go with the long hair look.

Well, this past Wednesday I was in the grocery store and a young girl said...

"Excuse me mam, can get around to get some cookies."

Normally it's this moment in time that I'll drop my voice down to the "Evil Devil" level and freak the person out. But, this time I just smiled and moved out of their way. You see, I felt bad. This young lady obviously has women in her family with massive amounts of facial hair on them if they think I'm a woman. Her future life could be very hard in this shallow country so best not to rub it in and traumatize her. That, I'm sure, will come later.
