Wow, I just saw the preview for what looks like a really scary movie that should have started today. It's called "Before I Wake", and it had a May 8 release date, but the producers got scared and decided to postpone it..

They did not want to compete with Sofia Vergara and those Avengers.  I think they should have done it. "Before I Wake" looks like a scary movie winner.  Like a lot of horror movies these days, this one has a child at its center. A little boy whose nightmares come into the real world while he is sleeping.  The movie stars Kate Bosworth and Thomas Jane. Jacob Tremblay is the little boy.

If it was opening today like it was supposed to, I believe "Before I Wake" would have come in second. The movie is now set to open on September 25. Maybe they wanted first place.

So Sofia and Reese Witherspoon will probably come in second this weekend.  Many will disagree, but "Hot Pursuit" looks pretty funny to me. But did I see all the funny parts in the previews?

Marvel's "Avengers:Age of Ultron" made over $190 million last week. A steep drop is expected this weekend. I have outgrown this type of movie, but there are millions more out there who will see it several times. So it will still be number one.

I can't help it James Spader, Ultron's voice, it just makes me shake my head in disbelief.  I cannot see him as a villiian to be feared!  It cracks me up! Sorry James. ( I feel the same way about "The Blacklist", he cracks me up.)

And something called "The D Train" starring Jeffrey Tambor and Jack Black opens in limited release this weekend. It is playing in Killeen, but it's limited release so I don't expect it will make much, plus I saw the preview so I don't expect it will make much, ever!
