But that’s Central Texas for you. The weather here changes quicker than a girlfriend with a bad attitude.

According to KXAN, there’s a powerful storm brewing that could leave snow all over the Midwest and Northern Plains this Friday. What does that have to do with us here in the Killeen-Temple area? Well, it could bring the first freeze of the season to our area.

First Freeze, Huh? How Freezy We Talkin'?

The freeze is expected to be light, with lows in the low 30s. That's not so bad really, but it still counts as a freeze and you should still take precautions like wrapping your pipes and dripping your faucets. Also be prepared for people to drive like maniacs on our local roads.

It doesn't look like the ice will stick around very long at all, but there could be showers. Plus we'll have colder days following the front, so be prepared to bundle up.
