I've been doing this Friday feature for almost two years now and usually our visiting dogs are totally inaudible. Completely silent. Sure, some of them have shown our photographers a whole lotta love and seventh even jumped on the counter next to the microphone.

This weeks puppy broke that streak. First off, I would want to cry too if my name was "little bit,"  a name which seems to convey a pitiful existence.  Thankfully, once you or someone like you acquires this animal, you can rename it with something a bit more dignified. And I'm certain little bit won't last long at Temple Animal Services because this is the kind of friendly, family dog kids love.

Temple Animal Services is located at 620 Mama Dog Circle in Temple, just off 31st Street and Avenue H. To learn about adopting this dog or one just right for you and your family, click here for the City of Temple Website. They also have GIFT CERTIFICATES so your loved one can pick out the perfect pet of their own.

Be sure to listen in every Friday morning on K101.7 when Temple’s top Animal Services officer Walter Hetzel joins us in studio with another furry friend.

Our weekly segments with our pets of the week are brought to you by Rescue Magazine. All of the animal agencies in Central Texas are represented in this publication including Temple’s Animal Shelter.
