After a few medium and large-sized dogs, it was time for Walter Hetzel from Temple Animal Services to surprise us with a smaller dog.  What a charming delightful toy pup he brought to our studio this week.

Named after Dr. Seuss's famous literary creation, miniature-sized Grinch brought a very loving demeanor to the proceedings. As a small dog, Grinch is ever wary of being stepped on. Once the tiny puppy determines conclusively that the territory is safe, the affection freely flows. Those in search of a teacup pup will do well to give Grinch a once over.

Temple Animal Services is located at 620 Mama Dog Circle in Temple, just off 31st Street and Avenue H. To learn about adopting this sweet little dog or one just right for you and your family, click here for the City of Temple Website. They also have GIFT CERTIFICATES so your loved one can pick out the perfect pet of their own.

Be sure to listen in every Friday morning on K101.7 when Temple’s top Animal Services officer Walter Hetzel joins us in studio with another furry friend.

Our weekly segments with our pets of the week are brought to you by Rescue Magazine. All of the animal agencies in Central Texas are represented in this publication including Temple’s Animal Shelter.
