You're invited to be apart of a memorial service Tuesday in Temple.

The Temple Fire Department announced Saturday that there will be a 9/11 Memorial Service on September 11th, Tuesday, at the Central Fire Station at 210 North 3rd Street.

KWTX is reporting that you're invited to attend the service which will begin at 8:55 a.m.

At 8:59 a.m., the ringing of the bell, which is a fire department custom commemorating a line of duty death, will mark the collapse of the World Trade Center South Tower, followed by a moment of silence.

The service will conclude with a second bell ringing to mark the North Towers collapse, followed by the playing of bagpipes.

If you're unable to attend, you're asked to observe a minute of silence from 8:59 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
