Belton, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor football team will see a brand new face when the Cru hosts an NCAA Division III National Championships Second Round game against Franklin College this Saturday. The Cru will be facing the Grizzlies for the first time and will also be playing a team from the state of Indiana for the first time in the 15-year history of UMHB football. The Cru will enter the game ranked 2nd in the country in both national polls and is 11-0 on the season after knocking off American Southwest Conference rival Louisiana College 59-20 in the First Round last Saturday. Franklin College is ranked 16th in the country by D3football.com and is 20th in the nation in the American Football Coaches Association's Top 25 Poll. The Grizzlies are 9-2 on the year and have won nine straight games, including a 42-10 decision over Adrian College in last Saturday's First Round contest. Franklin's only two losses are to #1 Mount Union and a Division I program in Butler University in the first two games of the season. So the Cru is getting prepared for an unfamiliar opponent that is playing its best football of the season.

“You watch video of these guys and you can see how well-coached and disciplined they are,” Cru head coach Pete Fredenburg said. “They have a good plan and execute it well, so we are going to have to be ready to face their best shot. I thought we played pretty well last weekend and we need to come out with that same intensity and same focus again this weekend.”

The winner of Saturday's game advances to the Quarterfinals to face either Wesley College or Cortland State University for the right to advance to the National Semifinals. UMHB will provide a free live video stream and live statistics for Saturday's game at the following link: http://client.stretchinternet.com/client/umhb.portal.  Sports Radio 101.7 The Ticket will air the game live with pre-game show at 12:
