The name is Jorge Luis Santamaria, 36, and he has a bounty on him as the DPS is offering a $2,000 reward on information leading to his capture.

He's wanted for probation violation and failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements. All tips are guaranteed to be anonymous.

They've been looking for this putz for awhile. He's been wanted since 2012 when he absconded from his last know home in Electra, Texas. It seems he also has ties to the Austin area, including Elgin. Which is scary since I know people from there, and there are kids around a lot.

Santamaria was convicted of attempt to commit indecency with a child - sexual contact after an incident in Travis County involving an 11-year-old boy.

Santamaria is 5'6'' and weighs approximately 230 lbs. For more you can read his wanted bulletin.

If you want to profit from this man's future prison pain, but all means. Some rules do apply though...

tipsters MUST provide information to authorities using one of the three following methods:

  • Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
  • Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about, and then clicking on the link under their picture.
  • Submit a Facebook tip by clicking the "SUBMIT A TIP" link (under the "About" section).

All tips are anonymous – regardless of how they are submitted – and tipsters will be provided a tip number instead of using a name.

Do children in Texas a huge favor and lets get this guy back behind bars and off the streets.
