PGA Headquarters Looking to Come to Frisco Texas
Frisco Texas no longer depending on NDSU making the finals of the Division Football Championship for their economy.
NBCDFW.com is reporting that the PGA is looking at Frisco, Texas as their new headquarters.
So you might think that it means that there will be a lot of weird white guys with even stranger pants walking around Frisco. Yes, but there's more.
By 2022, the PGA expects to be out of Palm Beach Gardens in Florida, because, well, Florida. They'll then come to Texas on the northern end of Frisco, just west of the Dallas North Tollway and south of U.S. 380.
And again, it means more than just a cool building and colorful clothing. They're going to be building two championship golf courses plus, a 500-room Omni luxury resort and conference center, a retail village with plenty of shops, restaurants, and live music venues.
They'll also be hosting 15 professional golf tournaments in its first 12 years. And not some rinky dinky "Big Boy Open". No sir. We're talking the 2027 PGA Championship. A major.
