New York University Students Already Offended By Trump’s State of the Union Address
College students are often referred to as "the leaders of tomorrow". If that's true of this bunch, the future's looking dim.
Last week, Cabot Phillips with Campus Reform, an arm of the conservative Leadership Institute, conducted a series of man-on-the-street interviews with students at New York University to hear their thoughts on President Donald Trump's 2018 State of the Union Address - a speech he won't deliver until Tuesday evening, January 30.
The fact that Trump has yet to deliver a single State of the Union (it's his first year, after all) didn't stop these opinionated scholars from voicing their absolute disgust with the POTUS' racist, insensitive, and all-around ignorant remarks.
To be fair, segments like these always edit out responses from the informed or those willing to admit they don't know what's going on, but it's always somewhat frightening to hear how many people will give you an opinion on things that either didn't or haven't yet happened, or things about which it's obvious they know absolutely nothing.
No matter which side of the political aisle you're on, these responses have to make you cringe.
