ITALIAN IS WHAT'S FOR DINNER

You would think because we are in the Central part of Texas you wouldn’t be able to find delicious Italian food, but I definitely beg the differ. After all, our area's been booming in recent years, and that's brought experienced cooks from all around the nation and the world.

These three restaurants have to be some of the best Italian food that I’ve had in my life.

LITTLE ITALY - 1218 S FORT HOOD STREET

Little Italy was the very first authentic Italian food I was introduced to as a child. This is the perfect place for a date night in my opinion.

The wine collection paired with any dish from little Italy is always a 10 out of a 10 for me. If you get a chance to try Little Italy, check out their lobster ravioli.

LA GOLDA - 515 W VETERANS MEMORIAL BLVD

La Golda is a newer restaurant in our area, and I was initially hesitant to try the food because I’m not very big on change. Boy am I glad I finally gave them a chance.

I got to have some of the best pizza and authentic Italian food in the city. Their shrimp ravioli with the homemade cream sauce is so delicious. You can tell nothing comes dumped from a jar in this place.

BELLA SERA - 2330 VERNA LEE BLVD

Last but not least, Bella Sera in Harker Heights was the perfect addition to the Killeen area. The chicken marsala is probably some of the best I've ever had, and they can find some creative and tasty ways to cook up and serve some shrimp.

When you first walk into Bella Sera, the staff greets you and are so welcoming. This restaurant is family oriented, which is really important when it comes to making people feel good about what they eat. If you make me feel like we’re family, chances are you make really good food - and they do!
