So did you see the Super Bowl Coca Cola Commercial with "America the Beautiful" being sung in different languages?

Coke says they did it to celebrate the beauty of the United States and the diversity of its citizens.  The message, "America Is Beautiful" pops up at the end, which turns into #AmericaIsBeautiful. You know in case you want to tweet about how great it is that all these different people can be American.

You know the haters had to come out.  People who said "America the Beautiful" should only be sung in the English language, all the hate spawned hashtags like this,  #boycottcoke, and #SpeakAmerican.

But all is not lost, the haters prompted others to come out backing the ad, with some of them pointed out America's long history of diversity, and the fact that Katharine Lee Bates, the woman who wrote America the Beautiful, was a lesbian who spoke out about peace and social justice in the U.S.

So what do you think, should America the Beautiful only be sung in English?
