Belton Lady Tigers Can’t Finish Comeback Against Midway

Belton Softball took on Waco Midway last night in what turned out to be an instant classic of high school softball.

Midway poured on runs all throughout the first five innings. By the time Belton was up to bat in the bottom of the 6th, the Tigers were down 7 runs and desperate.

The Lady Tigers went on a run in the 6th and 7th innings, to bring the game to a close score of 7-6. Unfortunately, the game ended with bases loaded and a loss for Belton.
