Baby Rushed to Hospital With Alcohol Poisoning

An argument and assault call brought the police to a home is Kenosha Wisconsin this past Monday. What they found was simply terrifying.

According to the complaint, Police found 22 year old Brian Jones screaming and cursing

at about 12 people who had gathered around a car. Inside the car was a 20 year old woman who was sobbing. The complaint stated that Jones threatened the police, and, after a brief struggle with officers, was handcuffed.

The woman in car said that Jones had choked her after she had used a water bottle, filled with vodka, to feed their month old baby.

It seems the mother made the formula out of the same bottle of water she always uses, but, Brian Jones had dumped the water out and refilled it with Vodka. He was so upset that he started choking her.

The police noticed that the baby's breath was labored. They checked and the baby had a blood alcohol level of 0.294. The baby was then taken to the local Children's Hospital.

Mr Jones is now facing charges of strangulation and battery, resisting an officer, and disorderly conduct. That could add up to 10 years in prison if convicted. And yet his child will still be 11 years away from being able to drink vodka legally.
