Springtime in Texas brings with it an explosion of color, as the various native wildflowers begin to make themselves seen. These flowers don't discriminate when it comes to where they'll grow. From rural fields and ranches to highway medians, the wildflowers of Texas find themselves at home.

On my drive home from West Texas a few weeks ago, I was blown away by the frequency and density of these random patches of wildflowers. I took the opportunity to stop and take photos where I could. Shout out to Tashi for modeling.
