Would You Go Back To An Ex If They Won The Lottery?
There's another big Powerball Jackpot drawing coming up on Wednesday worth an estimated $448 million dollars and there's a story trending out of New Jersey of a recently divorced man who won a $237 million dollar lottery jackpot there but when his wife was interviewed, she claimed she would never go back to him even though he's rich now.
I'm calling shenanigans but then again, I'm poor.
According to the New York Post, 53 year old Mike Wiersky won a huge Mega Millions jackpot recently but his ex-wife Eileen Murray, who divorced him back in October of 2018 was asked if there was any hope of reconciliation now that Mike (who spent most of their 15 year marriage unemployed as a stay at home Dad while she made all the money) had won the lottery. Eileen was very clear with her answer:
“He’s not appealing to me all of a sudden because he has this money...I’m not going after anything. I have morals. I know what I’ve worked for and it’s everything that I have. He’ll think I’m there with my hand out and I have no intention to do that." - Eileen Murray via New York Post
Considering that Eileen is still paying HIM alimony, I can understand her position but I know a lot of us aren't so forgiving.
So that begs the question, How much money is enough money for you to swallow your pride and go back with an ex you HATED? Share your thoughts with us!
