What’s YOUR Greatest Song Of All Time?
James Harrison featured the song "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" by the Rolling Stones on today's Morning Show. As he said, Rolling Stone Magazine once named the song number 2 on its 500 Greatest Songs of All Time list.
Which song was named number 1?
Why, it was "Like A Rolling Stone" by Bob Dylan.

As a 26-year-old with an admiration and respect for music produced before my generation, I have to say that these are two incredible examples of songwriting. They're heartfelt and gorgeous. But...they're products of their time. They're manifestations of the particular sense of urgency that young people felt when they were released.
People my age (born '80s, raised '90s) might say Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" or Weezer's "Say It Ain't So". People a little older than myself might say Michael Jackson's "Billy Jean" or Guns N' Roses' "Sweet Child O' Mine". Even people before the Dylan and Stones generation could throw a big names out there: Buddy Holly; Elvis Presley; Chuck Berry.
And you know what? They'd all be right!
My point is that there are as many "greatest songs of all time" as there are people in the world. It's a matter of perspective. What song were you listening to when you had your first kiss? What song did you dance to with your daughter at her wedding? What song did you tell all your friends you wanted to be played at your funeral when you were a dumb, reckless kid? (We all did that - don't lie. Mine was "Next Year" by the Foo Fighters.)
