Photos sent in by one of our listeners Sunday show graffiti and vandalism at one of Temple's most popular walking trails.

The photos were taken at Pepper Creek Trail between Airport Road and West Adams Avenue in Temple shortly before 2:30 PM Sunday afternoon.

The person who sent the photos said there were no signs of vandalism when they visited the trail exactly a week ago.

The images we received showed signs along the trail covered in spray paint, offensive language spray painted on concrete walkways and barriers, and paint on trees. One image shows a roll of toilet paper tossed into some tree branches.

We've reached out to the Temple Police Department for comment and are awaiting more information.

If you have any information that may be helpful to police, please contact the Temple Police Department's non-emergency line at (254) 298-5500.

The photos sent to us can be seen below. We have chosen to obscure some particularly offensive language in one of the photos.
