Tom can stop crying now. His jersey was found south of the border.

According to KCEN-TV, the NFL confirmed in a statement that the jersey has indeed been recovered.

For everyone outside of Yankeeville, this seemed like a waste of valuable time for the F.B.I., Texas Rangers, Houston PD, and everyone else involved. But, what you might not have known is that the Houston PD did classify this theft as a felon - mainly because the sweaty jersey was valued at $500,000.

Now that yet another overblown problem with the most hated team in the NFL is over, maybe the F.B.I. can focus more on other issues by egotistical megalomaniacs.

If you factor in the "Alternative Facts" (if the wall was up), the jersey never would've made it out of the country. Not via the southern exit, anyway, but since our Northern border is loose as a goose, and our coast lines have no more money to be protected, sure it's possible it would've made it's way out of the country those ways. But at least it wouldn't have been in Mexico. Allegedly.
