Threat Against Academy High School Under Investigation

Temple Police warned of a possible treat to student safety Monday morning.

Academy ISD released a statement, (above) explaining the situation students experienced Monday morning.

It seems that the Temple Police informed Academy ISD of a possible threat at 12:15 a.m.

There was no reason to believe that the school was in imminent danger, police from Little River-Academy, and Bell County Sheriff deputies were on the school campus to ensure protection and safety.
