One thing that we all certainly love about Central Texas is of course, the local businesses that inhabit the area. We all have our favorites of course. One of our favorites of course being Los Compadres.

But what if you aren't feeling tacos? There's various other places to get food of course. But dessert is the most important part of the day to many.

One dessert place in Killeen, Texas that some may know of is Rock and Roll Ice Cream Parlor. They currently have two locations, but that is soon to change, as the business had announced a third location.

The new location at 2020 W. Stan Schlueter Loop will be the third place for Central Texans that want to get ice cream. The owner, Jermain Baptiste, was interviewed by the Killeen Daily Herald. Baptiste stated "I’m really looking forward to the grand opening and invite the public to come and enjoy our selections."

The menu, according to the Daily Herald, won't be changed from the two other locations. Their various items can be found on their website.

But this also raises another question we'd like some answers to.

Top 20 Restaurants Central Texans Wish Would Come to Temple

A while back, I asked the good people of Temple if they could picture a good restaurant to fill the lot on North General Bruce Drive where the soon to be torn down Long John Silver's stood.

This was before it was announced that a Dutch Bros. Coffee location would open there (which was one of the places I predicted as a contender in our article).

So now Dutch Bros. is open in that spot, but the responses to my survey were interesting because they paint a picture of just how diverse Temple's population is. People recommended some familiar restaurants with locations in the surrounding area, but also a few I'd never even heard of.
