Temple Police Ask for Help with Fatal Case
Temple Police are asking the public for some help on a case.
I always thought it would be cool to buy a couple of motel rooms and live there permanently. I think it would be fun to be able to meet new people every day, then they'd leave and never come back. After this story, I might have to rethink this plan.
KWTX is reporting that the Temple Police asked for our help on the death of a motel owner. On February 12th police responded to the Econo Lodge, 1001 North General Bruce Drive in Temple, at 3:50 a.m.
According to police spokeswoman Ellen Morton from a press release..."Detectives found that the victim had been assaulted by an individual who subsequently left the scene."
The victim was Manish Patel. Mr. Patel was taken to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center where he died on Sunday.
Investigators need a lead and are asking anyone with information to call the Temple Police Department at (254) 298-5500 or to call Crime Stoppers at (254) 526-TIPS.
