Get a great fix on the music of your youth with the Spazmatics.

It's always nice to be able to do something nice for someone else, but since we're human, it's even better when you get something out of it as well.

Save the date, Thursday, October 11th. That's the day that the Spazmatics will do a benefit show for Margo Wyatt at Schoepf's BBQ in Belton.

Margo Wyatt was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer a while back, and it's a doozy of version. It seems that it's a resilient type that doesn't respond well to chemotherapy treatments.

When the folks at Magnolia Reality heard about Margo's case, they decided to do something about it and organized this fantastic event. They've teamed with Resources After Diagnosis (AKA Barbells For Boobs) to help defray medical costs. Tickets are only $15 presale or $20 at the door. There'll also will be a live auction. Table packages are also available.

Rachel Holman with Magnolia Reality tells us they sold 42 tables in less than 48 hours, and their goal is to sell out the 3,000-person venue. You can help them do that and be a champion for Margot by getting your pre-sale tickets today.

Some come in to Schoepf's BBQ, 702 East Central in Belton on Thursday, October 11th for a great time with the Spazmatics, and help out Margo Wyatt and Margo Strong. A few dollars here and there will help the battle.

This event is just the first of a series of annual charity drives the folks at Magnolia plan to organize, so keep an eye out for more ways to help neighbors in need while having a great time.
