The City of Savannah, Georgia took to their Facebook page to ask residents if they knew who committed a horrid crime. The crime? Putting googly eyes on a Revolutionary War General Nathanael Greene statue that is in Johnson Square. Park Officials called the Savannah Police Department to file a trespass report and it wasn't long before pictures of the crime were up for everyone to see. Authorities in Georgia are trying to figure out who put googly eyes on a historic statue last week. Although it was hilarious, the City of Savannah isn't taking it as a joke and they want the person who did this identified.

Have you ever put googly eyes on a random object? It instantly makes it funny. We don't encourage you to go around putting googly eyes on statues, some cities will take this offense very seriously and go on a viral Facebook search for you. Googly eye bandits beware!
