The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that 2,243 vanity plate requests were rejected last year, either because they already existed, were too lewd by state standards, or were likely to cause confusion. They ranged from political messages like "NOTRUMP" and "DPORTME" to rowdy stuff like "BTCH PLS" and "PORNSTR".
