Man Comes Back from Space with Different DNA
Turns out you don't need a dose of Gamma Rays or a radioactive spider bite to change your DNA. You just need to live in space for a while.
A day after our President announced a possible "Space Force", a story comes out stating that living in space changes your DNA.
KSAT12 shared a CNN story indicating that Astronaut Scott Kelly's DNA no longer matches that of his twin brother. Kelly spent a year in space and is now 7% different genetically from his twin. NASA did a study to see if anything changed and preliminary results say "yes".
I can only imagine that this will make everyone avoid the Space Force recruiter. Go Army!
