Killeen Police Respond to Triple Homicide

Killeen police are investigating a triple murder that occurred over the weekend in Killeen at the Summerlyn Apartments.

According to a press release from the Killeen Police Department, authorities responded to a shots fired call on March 14, at approximately 1 AM. Officers investigated around the area, but were unable to determine where the shots came from.

At approximately 1:40 AM, officers were dispatched once more, after receiving a call from about water leaking from one apartment into another. Authorities attempted to speak with the tenant, but did not receive a response when knocking. The door to the apartment was unlocked, and officers entered in the residence.

Once inside, authorities discovered three victims, in their early twenties, who had suffered fatal gun shot wounds. Two males, and one female were pronounced deceased at approximately 2:46 AM.

Police have not yet released the names of the victims.
