Killeen Police Asking for Public’s Help Identifying Shorty’s Robbery Suspect
Do you recognize this man? Killeen police need to speak with him concerning the aggravated robbery of Shorty's Convenience Store on Thursday, November 8.
Police were called to the store at 908 Terrace Drive that night at approximately 9:45 PM. Upon arrival, a witness said a black man wearing a black beanie, a black hoodie, and black pants entered the store with a gun and demanded money from an employee. The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled on foot.
As you can see in the surveillance stills below, the suspect did not cover his face, and the stills clearly show his features, including a beard. Police say he's of medium build and stands between 5'10" and 6" tall.
Police say the man should be considered armed and dangerous, so please don't try to approach or apprehend him yourself.
