Killeen Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting 5-Year-Old Child Turns Himself In

A Killeen man has been charged with first degree felony aggravated sexual assault of a child after turning himself over to authorities Monday morning.

Bell County Jail records indicate that 57-year-old Phillip Joseph Beauchamp was booked at 10:57 AM Monday. His bond has been set at $150,000.

Our news partner, KWTX, reports that a warrant was issued for Beauchamp on November 15 following an investigation that began in August. The alleged assault reportedly took place in a home on Pecan Road. Jail records indicate Beauchamp resides in that area.

KXXV reports that the victim was 5-years-of age at the time of the alleged assault.
