The 1971 NFC Divisional Round had two games be played on Christmas that years: the Dolphins vs the Chiefs and the Cowboys vs the Vikings. The Cowboys travelled to Minnesota and would beat the Vikings, 20-12. This would be the first time the Cowboys played on Christmas & their first win. (By the way the Dolphins would win THEIR match up too). That same year both the Cowboys & the Dolphins would meet up in the Super Bowl and the Cowboys would win Super Bowl VI.

The next Christmas game the Cowboys would play would be in 1995 against the Arizona Cardinals. The Cowboys would end up winning the game at Sun Devil Stadium, 37-13.

The first time Dallas would play at HOME for Christmas was in 2006 at the old Texas Stadium. The Cowboys would face off against their NFC East rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles would prove to be too much for the Cowboys that year; they would win 23-7.

The last time the Cowboys played on Christmas was in 2010 against the team they beat in 1995; the Arizona Cardinals. This game was a close battle but it would be the Cardinals getting the win this time; they won 27-26.
