Investigating structure fires can be very challenging for many reasons.

It can sometimes be a major challenge just to identify the origin of a fire. Even if no accelerants are detected, it does not immediately rule out arson as a potential cause.

Right now this death is being investigated as fire related according to the City of Temple. If the evidence leads detectives in a different direction, it is likely the public's help will be a great asset.

In situations like this, you hope it is nothing more than accident, but even then you are in disbelief because of wondering how a tragedy could have been avoided.

When will the investigation be complete?
