New Businesses Set To Arrive Soon In The Killeen, Texas Mall

The area around Killeen, Texas is constantly growing.

It almost seems like when one Texan leaves, 10 move in to take their place. This isn't a bad thing of course, but the area around us has to adjust to the new faces arriving. Whether it be new housing, or a new eatery, sometimes it feels like there's always something new being built in Central Texas.

But obviously, those things take time to put up. There's a lot time and effort that goes into a business being built. Of course, money is absolutely required as well.

It was recently announced that the Killeen Mall is set to bring in new businesses that some may be very excited for their arrival. But when are they set to start building?

As listed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, permits were recently submitted to began refurbishment of an area of the shopping center. Set to begin on June 1st, 2024, the details areas follows:

"Demolition of existing interior finishes to prepare for the demising of the building space into (3) building shells. Each new shell space will receive an added entry canopy. New roof will be provided."

According to the permits and Tex Reporter, the new places of business are HomeGoods, Marshalls, and TJ Maxx. Overall, the project is set to cost a large sum of $2,500,000, and the completion date is August 31st, 2024.
