A Texas teacher is receiving backlash after it was suggested that she may have acted inappropriately, with some saying she pulled a "Karen" move or, at the very least, involved herself in a situation that wasn't hers to address. The Washington Examiner reported that an educator from the Fort Worth Independent School District posted a comment on social media asking Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to visit her school because she claimed some students "don’t even speak English."

The teacher, a substitute at Northside High School, is now under investigation following the post, as well as for other issues related to President Trump's crackdown on illegal immigration. From her iPhone, the teacher wrote: "Y’all should come to Fort Worth, Texas, to Northside High School. I have many students who don’t speak English in 10th and 11th grade. They have to communicate with me through the iPhone translator."

Recently, President Trump issued a pardon related to immigration, and ICE has arrested thousands of illegal immigrants because of it.

So, do you consider what this teacher did noble or harmful?

Due to the controversy sparked by the substitute teacher's post, the Fort Worth Independent School District is investigating the matter and issued a statement saying: "We are aware of the recent social media post referring to Northside High School, allegedly made by a substitute teacher, and it has caused concern within our Fort Worth ISD community."Was this the act of a concerned Texan or an irresponsible educator, or worse the act of someone just not minding their business?"
