Texas Gang Member Sentence To 100 Years In Prison
Derwin Dwayne Bell is a 25-year-old Texas man who could spend the rest of his life in jail even if there is a possible parole. According to KWTX Derwin Dwayne Bell is a Waco gang member who was on parole and was sentenced to 30 years in prison about three weeks ago for a shooting that took place in downtown Waco.
IF YOU CAN'T DO THE TIME DON'T DO THE CRIME
Two individuals were injured and that sealed the deal Wednesday for Derwin to spin 100 years in jail on his conviction of three drug deals. The jury explained that it was recommended that Judge Thomas West sentence Bell, 25 to 70 and 60 and 70 years after finding him guilty of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamines, cocaine, and heroin.
HOW DID DERWIN BELL END UP WITH A 100-YEAR SENTENCE?
Once the jury returned with the verdict for Derwin Bell, Judge, Thomas West stacked the 70-year term for one count onto the 30-year term from his early trial this month, which ordered Bell to serve two consecutive sentences, a total of 100 years. Bell is looking for at least 45 years before he can seek parole.
