Killeen Municipal Court Brings Back Highly Popular Forgiveness Month
If you are a resident with an active warrant, it’s highly recommended that you take full advantage of this opportunity — no one wants to start the new year with the risk of being arrested for an outstanding warrant.
Second Chances: Killeen Municipal Court's Forgiveness Month Is Back!
The Warrant Forgiveness initiative was first introduced in 2022 as part of the Safe Harbor Program by Judge Kris Krishna. Last year, residents did not have the option to participate, so everyone is encouraged to make use of it this time. The program has already achieved impressive results — successfully resolving over 100 cases, terminating more than 200 warrants, and collecting over $138,471 in city citation payments.
