Killeen, Texas Boil Water Notice Issued for Gray Street and Avenue Properties

The City of Killeen has released a statement announcing that a boil water notice has been issued for Gray Street in the following areas(201 - 224 E. Ave D 120, 123, 201, 205, 207, N. Gray St.. )This notice will go into effect on March 9, 2025, at 8:00 AM.

Temporary Boil Water Advisory for Gray Street and Avenue Areas

Fire hydrants will be removed from the area by the City of Killeen, and water crews will remain on-site until the work is completed and the residents' water supply is restored. A water quality sample will be collected the following morning, and residents can expect results within 24 to 48 hours.

Gray Street and Avenue Under Boil Water Alert – Precautionary Measures

Residents in the affected area are advised to boil water before any consumption until the water sampling confirms that there is no contamination in the water supply. A public notice will be issued through the City of Killeen’s website and the Boil Water Notice Hotline at 254-501-6515 once the advisory is lifted.
