Police said Ellison used an AR-10 rifle, a .308 caliber weapon. He was taken into custody and transported to the Bell County Juvenile Detention Center. Investigators reported that the victims had stopped in front of the suspect’s home in a vehicle when Ellison opened fire during an altercation. After being shot, Black attempted to drive away but crashed the vehicle approximately two blocks later.

Due to the severity and nature of the crime, Ellison will be charged as an adult. As of now, no further updates have been released regarding the investigation, but we will keep you informed as more information becomes available.
