Texas A&M Executive Arrested Following Serious Child Sex Abuse Allegations
Darvis Griffin, who was a Texas A&M University administrator, has found himself facing a first-degree felony charge. This particular felony could carry a sentence of up to 25 years to life in prison, according to KBTX.On Thursday, September 3, Griffin was arrested by campus police on a warrant out of McLennan County. He was charged with continuous sexual abuse of a young child.

To accuse and charge Griffin with these particular offenses, prosecutors will have to prove that two or more acts of sexual abuse against a child under the age of 14 were committed over a period of 30 days or more. As of right now, the relationship between the alleged victim and Griffin has not been disclosed. Griffin is expected to be extradited to McLennan County. For now, he is being held in the Brazos County Jail and is expected to appear before a judge regarding the charges.
