Long Live the King and Queen of Killeen, Texas! The City of Killeen recently issued a press release celebrating the Lions Club Park Senior Center’s annual Senior Prom, which took place on Thursday, July 24. This event is just like any classic prom—full of excitement, elegance, and joy. Attendees dressed in their finest attire, danced the night away, made lasting memories, and, most importantly, celebrated the crowning of a king and queen.

Killeen's Golden Gala: Lions Club Park Seniors Name Prom King & Queen

More than 200 guests enjoyed the event at the Killeen Civic and Conference Center. Kathryn Winston, manager of the Lions Club Park Senior Center, shared, “Events like these transform our evenings into tapestries woven with love and belonging, where our senior citizens' wisdom is honored, and their presence is deeply cherished.” She went on to say that the center has become “a sanctuary where they feel seen, valued, and part of the vibrant community they call home.”

Killeen's Favorite Seniors: Prom King and Queen Crowned at Lions Club Park

Joseph Pangelinan was crowned king, and Miss Rosa Subialdea was crowned queen of this memorable event. The two took to the dance floor, showing off their royal moves and delighting everyone with their presence.
