Recently there was a survey taken of thousands of people to determine the most "Christmassy" towns in America, and believe it or not, only one town in Texas made the list. Of course towns like Bethlehem, Pennsylvania make the list and the home of one of the greatest winter miracles in Unites States history, Lake Placid, New York.

The top 50 towns were ranked with Pigeon Forge, Tennessee being named number one according to this poll and article at Mixbook. Personally, have never been to Pigeon Forge at Christmastime, but they are the current home of the world's largest Buc-ee's, so that alone should warrant a visit.

If there is going to be just one to make the list, then The Christmas Capital of Texas, Grapevine of course would have to be the lone representative for the Lone Star State. You probably already know that Grapevine is also home to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, so if you are looking for snow to be part of your Christmas, what better place than the town that has more flights to snowy destinations than any other in the state?

Grapevine is not all there is in Texas because you can also enjoy the world's largest Christmas park Santa's Wonderland in College Station, or Christmas by the beach with the many activities that are available like the Festival of Lights at the Moody Gardens in Galveston.
