Texas may not be out of the woods just yet when it comes to severe thunderstorms, according to KVUE. After a beautiful weekend of cool weather and sunshine, storms have made a return to Central Texas as of Monday—and they're expected to continue into Tuesday night. Spotty showers and storms are developing as moisture moves in from the Rio Grande Valley. While some of these storms may reach dangerous levels, the threat of isolated severe storms remains a possibility.

If you commute to work, consider leaving earlier in the morning or heading home a bit sooner to avoid potentially hazardous road conditions. While hailstorms have not yet returned to the region, the biggest threat this week is large hail. Much of Central Texas falls within a 15% risk area for hail, meaning there is a possibility of hailstones two inches in diameter or larger.
