Benedict Ogbodiegwu is a Central Texas man investigators had been looking for and have now found. He has been charged with murder, according to Williamson County officials and KWTX. The incident took place in the 2400 block of Chandler Creek Boulevard, in a park area where residents frequently visit. Someone was injured, and when EMS arrived and made their way to the individual, they were unfortunately pronounced dead.

Texas Deputies Race to Track Down 'Dangerous' Homicide Suspect After Park Death

The Community Criminal Investigation Division immediately determined that the incident was a homicide. Investigators released a possible description of the suspect, who was described as a Black male with short dreadlocks featuring frosted tips. That description allegedly matched Benedict Ogbodiegwu. He has now been arrested. Unfortunately, the victim's identity remains pending until officials can notify the next of kin.
