I’m so excited to announce that one of my favorite events is returning to the city of Killeen. Flavors of Central Texas is returning for its 17th year of community celebration on Saturday, August 29th.

What Can You Expect at This Year's Flavors Of Central Texas?

What this event really means to Central Texas is so much more than just people coming together who own local restaurants or vendors who serve food. It’s about the community being able to get a taste, gain a new perspective, and experience a little bit of a culture shock by trying everyone’s food. Guests will have the opportunity to sample more than 20 different food and beverage options, while also exploring six to seven additional activities featuring fun vendors. And, of course, the whole family is more than welcome to come out and have a good time, because when it’s all said and done, it’s really about community connections.

Where and When Is The Event Taking Place?

The event will take place at the Killeen Special Events Center, located at 3301 S. W.S. Young Drive, from 4 to 7 PM. If you’ve never been to this event, just keep in mind that this is the 17th Annual Flavors of Central Texas. That means that for more than a decade, people have continued to come back, and the event just keeps getting bigger and better. If you want to experience different cultures, support different businesses, and connect with the community through food, this is the event you want to be at!
