(Longview, Texas) "Where do you want to go to eat?" It's a question that is asked a couple of thousand times every day in Longview, Texas. If it's not that question, it's something like "what kind of food do you want?" or "what do you want to do?" It's great that Longview offers options, but many residents want more.

Longview’s Dining Dilemma

Whether it's going out for a burger, a steak, Italian, Asian, or wings, some locals would say there's just not enough options because they feel they've been going to the same places for years and want something new and fresh. Because oftentimes the response to those two previous questions is something like, "we had that a couple of days ago or last week," or "we always go there".

I'm not in Longview, but I've heard those responses from here in Tyler, too! So while Longview does have some great restaurants, locals still feel their choices are limited, although they're really not!

The dilemma isn't restricted to restaurants; Longview residents would like more options when it comes to shopping, grocery stores, entertainment, and societal changes, too. When asked in a Longview social media group, residents responded with the options they would like to see come to town.
